This weekend Denise, Karen and I took a canvas embellishment class with Tony Minieri at Edwardian Needle. We had a fabulous time. We were all happy with our stitch guides and threads. Tony is very funny and kept us entertained with his stories.
The women in the class were all wonderful stitchers and we had a great time with them and are looking forward to seeing them next year.
I was having such a wonderful time that I forgot to take pictures for the blog. So the only picture I have is of my Christmas Taxi by Raymond Crawford.
This is such a fun piece to stitch. Tony did some wonderful stitches and there will be a lot of bling. I am going to finish this piece as a card holder.
The Christmas Banner border is complete and it is now on the 40 inch evertites. I have to get use to working on such long bars. Tonight I am going to start the background.
Have a great week.

That is the cutest little car. I have never taken a Tony class. I would really like to do that. He does come down here, but the girls taking the class get to sign up first and newbies never get in. I might just have to come your way to participate.
Can't wait to see more.

Taking a class with Tony is so much fun! Look at that street going under the car--isn't that the greatest stitch! It combines our favorite teachers...created by Tony, it is called the Bunger stitch. Fun, right?

Love the taxi and can't wait to see the stitches Tony planned for you! Glad to hear your Evertites came for the banner - they are BIG! Have fun with the background!
Definitely fun! Did you know that there is even a Baby Bunger stitch? It's the truth! It's in the stitch guide one of my stitching friends has for the Melissa Shirley Green Farmhouse. Have fun with your Christmas Cab!
