Fun Day with Robin and Finishing

Yesterday was a great stitching day. Robin King came to Stitch by Stitch in Larchmont. Robin is a very talented stitcher and teacher. We all learned a lot of new techniques, and stitches. What a fun day we all had. Robin was very willing to share her needlepoint knowledge with us and we all learned a lot from her. I am looking forward to my next class with Robin.

As you can see, not a lot of stitching was done on my canvas. I learned so much and was too busy listening and making notes. Great class!

I was happy that my Keep Calm and Wait for Santa had just come back from the finisher. I am thrilled with the way it came out.

The back with my initials and year. I started having my initials and year put on the back of all my finishing.

The flower vase is going to look spectacular when it is done and now that I have seen your ornament, I wish mine would hurry and come back from the finisher. You are so lucky that your LNS hires people to come in. one of ours never does and it is rather disappointing, the other one has had June McKnight come in and it was a lot of fun. We need fresh Jake pictures!

Linda,
I just received a canvas that I purchased on EBAY
From Fireside stitchery. It was purchased from Stitch by Stitch in Larchmont originally. It is Heart Tree by Melissa Shirley, could it be one of yours? It is in great shape and I love it!
I have to thank you for mentioning Fireside on your blog, I have gotten a few other things from them as well.
I can't wait to stitch it.

Hi Susan,
I gave so many canvases to Fireside that I honestly do not remember. The only reason I would think it is mine is the fact that it was purchased from Stitch by Stitch.
I am extremely happy with Fireside and highly recommend them.
