It is just a wonderful feeling looking at the Nativity. From the majestic Elephant to the humble Donkey each piece takes on a life of its own. As I unwrapped each piece, I was amazed at all the stitches and techniques used in each piece. I know that a year was a big commitment but when I see what I accomplished, it was well worth it. The Nativity is truly an heriloom that I hope will be passed down from generation to generation. I cannot wait for Jake to meet each piece when he comes tomorrow. He is going to be so excited.

Looks spectacular. Now I wish I had done the Nativity. Hmmm, maybe after Halloweenies, Thanksgiving Banner, Rebecca Wood Christmas piece....so many fun things. Your Mantle looks wonderful and Jake is going to be so impressed Thanks so much for sharing

How beautiful, Linda! It takes my breath away! You, Kelly, and Amy are an unbeatable combination! Do you mind if I ask where you got the wooden manger? I need something like that to give some focus to my Melissa Shirley nativity figures.
So lovely! Thanks for sharing your beautiful mantle with us.
I love your Nativity. Your work is beautiful and I know because I have seen your Christmas frame in person! I wish I had the dedication to sticking with a year long project like the Nativity. The feeling when you unwrap it each year cannot be explained. I did Kathy Schenkels Advent Calendar and I get that feeling every year I put it out. This is my third. I love reading your posts and following your projects.

I love your Nativity. It is beautiful and your needlework is beautiful. I should know, I have seen your Christmas frame close up. I wish I had the determination to stay with a project like that for an entire year. The feeling you get when you unwrap it each year cannot be explained. I did Kathy Schenkels Advent Calendar and the feeling is there when I put it up each year. This is my third year. I wish more shops offered a "study hall" with their clubs. I'm sure it helps alot to finish each piece. I love reading about your projects. Please keep up the great work. Happy Holidays to you and your family
