Day Off

Today I had an unexpected day off from Nana Daycare. Jake goes to nursery school three mornings a week and today they had parents day. Jen took off so she could go. Jake was so excited to see his mother. He could not stop hugging and kissing her. Would have loved to see it.
I started my day off at PT and then was going to go home and spend the day stitching. As you can see, I did something else. I called Pier One when I got home and found out they had the Easter bracelets in. Off I went in search of the perfect bracelets. I was so excited with my finds that I had to make my scissor fobs. I already know who will be receiving them.
My next set of scissor fobs will be for the Thanksgiving House. I already have the bottom charm for them and am now in search of the perfect beads.

Now I have to finish cleaning the house and make dinner. Stitching will have to wait until after dinner.

The fobs are adorable. What a great idea to use the beads from pre-made braclets. I have some braceles that would be much better fobs.

Those are the cutest things ever!! You are so clever. You ought to sell them on Etsy. They would go like hotcakes.

They are so adorable I had to go to Pier One and buy Valentine and Easter bracelets lol. Do you have any instructions for non-beaders?

Hi Elizabeth,
It would be very difficult to tell you now to make them through an email. My best advice is to go to a beading store and have them help you. I know that Steph from Steph's Stitching found a site on the Internet that showed you how to do it. Hope this helps.

Thanks, Linda - my daughter was into beading and I think I might have invested in thousands of dollars of beading supplies back in the day (or so it seemed!) so she might have some pointers for me. These are so fun - I'd like one for each season!
